Welcome to my Internet Website
I was posed an interesting question by a friend today: "what have you been working on?"
I found myself disappointed in the answer -- nothing.
The past few months have had me nothing but burnt out and tired. I had all but forgotten I used to enjoy software development.
His (at the time) most recent blog post had a quote that admittedly inspired me a little:
"I sympathize with anyone who goes out of their way to use technology as a personal outlet"
In present day, present time, it's easy to forget that just a decade or two ago, the internet used to be a cool niche little space where you could read the musings of some rando in their own area -- set up just how they wanted it.
I realized that I don't really have a space like that right now. Sure, I have a personal website with some writings and other nonsense, but that's attached to my name and put on resumes so I can look more appealing to some corporate humiliation ritual director.
So, that's where this site comes in. I've had this domain for a while, and use it to host my "fun" side projects. I'll use this as my canvas, my little corner of the internet where I can write, do, or say whatever I want. Who knows, with how bad Google is these days maybe some rando will stumble on this site while researching how to 3D print a gun or something. Hello, feds!
